She changes and grows a lot throughout the book but despite this, she wasn’t a likable character for me. The protagonist, Summer, is a typical teenage girl. Lucky for me, the sequel is already out so I don’t have to wait. Although I love a nice clean ending that wraps everything up, there were some unanswered questions. Other than the great plot, I loved how fast-paced this book was. Although the idea of a kidnapper isn’t unique, this set-up is different from anything I expected. The next book in the series is You’ll Always be Mine. It is the first in the series which is why there are a few loose ends at the end. The book is told from the perspective of the protagonist Summer, her boyfriend Lewis and the kidnapper, Colin.
